  ------- Forwarded foolishness follows -------

There are 365 days per year available for work.

There are 52 weeks per year in which you already have two days off per
week, leaving 261 days available for work.

# You normally spend 2 days per year on sick leave.
# We are off for 5 holidays per year,
# We generally give you 14 days vacation per year, (not that you *have
to* take these holidays, but lets assume our man does).

That leaves 261 - 21 = 240 days available for work.

More assumptions, as stated in earlier post:

# You spend 16 hours each day away from work, i.e., you work 8 hours
   a day.
# You spend 30 minutes each day on coffee break.
# With a one hour lunch period each day.

So, our man *works* for 8 - (1 + 0.5) = 6.5 hours a day, for these 240
days.

That makes it (6.5 / 24) * 240 = 65 hours of total annual work.

Back calculating, this is equivalent to 65 / 24 = 2.7083 days of non-
stop work. He still gets to take a day off *and* register a finite
amount of work per annum. In fact, working 6.5 hours a day, only if he
was granted 10 days of vacation will his annual contribution be ZILCH ;)
