A Polish-American woman married a fellow and soon they were expecting a
child. The new wife said to her husband, that it was an old Polish
custom that the oldest brother of the mother has the right to give name
to the newborn child.

"Never! said the husband, you'r oldest brother is raving mad!"

"That's our custom and that's how it's gonna be, said the wife"

In due time the wife gave birth to twins and later still she told her
husband "My brother visited me today and he gave names to the twins".

Oh dear God, thought the husband. "What names did he give to the
children?" he asked.

"The first-born was named Denise", said his wife.

"That was not so bad at all", thought the husband, who had expected
something crazy from his eccentric brother-in-law.

"And what name did he give to our other child?"

"Denephew"
