UP THE CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE OR A CLUE
LONDON, England - A 56-year-old amateur sailor should seriously consider
finding a new pastime after being rescued for an 11th time by British
coastguards.
It was reported that Eric Abbott beached his home-made boat off the
north
coast of Wales as he tried to sail across the Irish Sea from Anglesey.
Abbott, who was rescued just two days earlier when he tried to navigate
the boat's course with a road map, has agreed to take navigation lessons
after the bailouts that have cost more than $82,550.
