Wishes & Dreams... - ANDREA xx *********THE LOONY BIN****loonies@bloodaxe.com********* *** *** *** Archive: http://loonies.net800.co.uk/ *** *** *** ************ANDROMEDA******Internet Goddess************ ------- Forwarded foolishness follows ------- The Portland Oregonian reports on criminal justice meted out in Salinas, California: Deputy District Attorney Christine Harter asked that Tamara Dee Maldonado be prohibited from possessing Beanie Babies. The toys, Harter said, are like a drug and ought to be treated as such. Judge Jonathan Price agreed. For the next five years, law enforcement agencies will have the right to search Maldonado's home without a search warrant to determine if she has any Beanie Babies. Maldonado has used pilfered credit card numbers to purchase $8,000 worth of toys. [The TY company, which makes Beanie Babies, failed to place warning labels on the stuffed animals warning consumers of their addictive properties. Attorneys General from thirty-nine states, as well as the United States Justice Department, are considering litigation to compel TY to act as a more responsible corporate citizen.] Please include this information if you forward this joke: ********************************************************* This joke and others like it, can be found in: The Loony Bin http://loonies.net800.co.uk/ ********************************************************* ______________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, write to loonies-unsubscribe@listbot.com MSN Messenger Service lets you stay in touch instantly with your family & friends - Visit http://messenger.msn.com
